Hi!  My name is Jennifer Barnette and I love long walks on the beach…kidding.  I was born and raised in a small town called Troutman, NC where I lived with my family until I moved off to college.  I attended Western Carolina University (’05) and thoroughly enjoyed my time in the mountains–Go Catamonts!  After college, I moved back home where I chose a career in finances.

My whole world are my two children and I look forward to the times when they are a bit older and can enjoy more time together in the woods.  Both of them continue to remind me how precious life is and push me to be the best person I can be.

Being active in the outdoors has always been a big passion of mine. I fell in love with bowhunting about 18 years ago and truly enjoy my time being in my stand.  For me hunting is more than the harvest but the total experience.  No hunt is ever the same and I believe we all learn a little more about ourselves each time.

If you don’t find me in the woods you will find me on my bike, running the roads or trails, or in the water.   You are only given one life so why not live it to its fullest?
