My name is Darrel Whitton III and I am originally from Gouverneur, NY.  I have served with the US Army for 18 years and am currently stationed at Fort McCoy, WI.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with a concentration of Fish and Wildlife Management through American Military University.  I have been an avid outdoorsman for over 20 years.  I was introduced to hunting at a young age by my biggest role model, my father.  I started shooting archery around the age of 14 and harvested my first deer with my bow when I was 16.  I have continued archery hunting to this day as it provides peace, tranquility and an important part of my life.  I enjoy the challenge that comes along with the territory of bow hunting as well.  It is my goal that my children enjoy the outdoors and they understand the importance of preserving God’s country for future generations.  I love archery hunting and everything it provides for my family.  I look forward to the archery season every year and all of the memories it creates.
